The brief
The customer wanted a custom BBQ benchtop for his outdoor backyard seating area — one benchtop that could carry a BBQ, a grill and a sink all in one run.
What we did
We built the whole benchtop in situ: formwork first, then the pour and finish, then strip and polish. The mix was Geostone ‘Architectural White’ with a burnished finish. The job took 3 days — day 1 was formwork, day 2 was the pour and finish, and day 3 was stripping the formwork and polishing.
The result
A clean, durable outdoor benchtop built to carry a BBQ, grill and sink together. The client was extremely happy with the job.
This is decorative concreting work, and we’re an approved Geostone installer.
